New Clio Integration
If you're using Clio for your practice management, integrating Clio with Chrometa streamlines your workflow. The new Clio API is faster, more secure and adds automatic sync with Chrometa thanks to many new useful features like Webhooks, Bulk Actions.If you're not yet familiar with Clio, Clio is a practice management system that offers all you need to run a law practice from intake to invoice, with powerful tools to manage cases, clients, documents, bills, calendars reporting, and accounting. New Features for Team Managers
As a team manager, you can now adjust/create time entries for team members, move time between projects and matters, have a quicker look on who's done what, and it's faster too.Add Time Entry Admin
If you need to update the time for a team member, no need to ask them to add the time entry, now you can do it from the Team Timesheet.Click the "+" icon, select the team member, project (or matter), annotation and the duration.
Editable Entries and Faster Categorization for Teams
All time entries can be updated: simply click on the description, duration or "Move to Project" to update the annotation, duration or the project.To delete a time entry, mouse over the line: when a red "Delete" button appears, click on it and the time entry is deleted.
Pie Chart Drill Down
The Team Graphs (Time by Project and Revenue) have three additional features:- Filter by team member: Select a team member from the dropdown list to limit data to a single user.
- Click on a piece of the pie (a project name) to see the breakdown by team member.
- Export the view to Excel using the "Export to Excel" link.
Power up Your Invoices With Two Neat Features
Outside of the amount due, the invoice number is the second most important number on your invoice. Systematically assigning a unique number to each invoice will give you an identifier for it. Use this identifier to look up an invoice on a computer when a customer calls with an invoice question or to find a physical copy of the invoice in your files.Chrometa uses sequential numbering for invoices. Sequential invoice numbering is the foundation for creating distinctive invoice numbers. To enable sequential invoice numbering, go to the Invoice Configuration and add the variable $NUMBER in your template header.Similarly, enable the Discount option in the invoice template to add a discount rate for your invoices. RingCentral Integration Beta
If you're using RingCentral, be one of the first people to integrate it with Chrometa and turn your phone calls into billable time!You probably spend many (unbilled) hours on the phone. Chrometa turns Android calls and text messages into billable time, however, land lines and iPhone calls do not offer a similar option. But it is now possible to track your land line and iPhone calls if you are using RingCentral, which you can now integrate with Chrometa. Ten (10) minutes after the end of a phone call, the phone call appears in your Chrometa timesheet! You can set up rules based on the contact name or phone number and/or extension to automatically assign to a client.Time Allocation/Billable Hours Target
