How to get a free license of Chrometa
Anyone can download a 30-day demo of Chrometa for Desktop for free. We didn't disable any of its features, so you'll get an authentic idea of what Chrometa is about. However, if you intend to use Chrometa past the first month, you'll have to unlock the app with a license key.
You can get a FREE license key by doing the following:
- If you work for a charity or non-profit, email us with a short intro on what you do, and we'll send you a FREE license key.
- If you're an open source contributor, tell us about the projects you're working on, and we'll send you a FREE license key.
- If you're an educator (K-12 teacher, professor), email us from your school email address and we'll send you a FREE license key.
- If you're a full-time student, email us from your .edu email address and we'll send you a license, FREE of charge.
- If you're a blogger or journalist willing to write us up, email us your info with the link to your blog or publication and we'll send you a FREE license key, so that you can evaluate Chrometa properly.
- If you're willing to present Chrometa to a live audience of at least 10 people (at a team meeting, a conference, professional association gathering), email us your info and we'll give you three FREE licenses, one for you to keep and two to give away at the event.
If these don't apply to you, just purchase a license for $99. You'll be contributing to continued product development and support.
What do I get when I buy a license?
A License Key that Never Expires
After you go through checkout, check your email. You will receive your receipt and your license key (2 emails) within a few minutes, though in some rare occasions orders take a while to go through. Be sure to check your spam filters as emails occasionally get trapped there.
Frequent Service Pack Updates
You get service packs for free. Service packs are minor updates that include product improvements, bug fixes, and sometimes new features. When an update is available, Chrometa will notify you with a pop-up window. We typically release a service pack every 2-3 weeks in response to ideas and suggestions from our users.
US-Based Customer Support
We offer free technical support for all of our users, and will typically reply to support questions within one business day (or sooner!). You can also check our support forums to see if you question had already been answered by someone else.
If you are not fully satisfied with our product, we'll refund you in full. Please contact us and we will refund your purchase immediately.
Volume Licensing & Pricing
If you would like to order 5 or more Chrometa licenses for your organization, please see our volume discounts below. On orders of 20 license or less, our volume discounts are automatically applied when you update your cart. If ordering more than 20 licenses, please contact us.
Licenses are tied to users, not the number of PC's. We'll gladly provide multiple license keys to users who have more than one computer FREE of charge.
